Email a producer from Sneezing Tree Films

Nick graduated with a degree in Film and Television in 2000 from the University of Westminster where he was mentored by screenwriter Tony Grisoni.

He decided to make the most of his qualification by working as a rickshaw rider in Soho for the next two years before moving back into the media world as a development researcher and script editor for fact based dramas including the BAFTA nominated MYSTERIOUS CREATURES starring Brenda Blethyn and Timothy Spall.

Nick’s two short docs – BARRY COX: THE CHINESE DREAM and THE MONSTERS OF MIAMI – are his directorial debuts and have aired on Al Gore’s network Current TV, The Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Rushes Soho Short Film Festival and the Miami Short Film Festival. He recently completed RUDELY INTERRUPTED about a disabled rock band from Melbourne, his third doc for Current TV.

THE MONSTERS OF MIAMI was awarded 'Film of the Year 2008' by Screen South and 'Best Journalistic Content 2008' by Current TV. The project is presently in development with Tigerlilly Films as a feature length film and has secured a distributor after being accepted for a pitching forum at the 2008 Sheffield International Documentary Festival.

He was profiled in the men's magazine Arena in December 2008 in a piece about the new generation of online film makers entitled MAKING THE CUT.

Nick currently has a slate of long form docs in development with with UK production companies and has been commissioned by Spike Jonze's online channel VBS.TV to direct a brand sponsored documentary. He also has projects in development with Al-Jazeera.

In addition to moving forward as a documentary film maker, in 2009 he also aims to direct his first fictional short - a black comedy called MORTALS.
